5) Sweet & Savory Roll Ups
A fun, tasty and attractive alternative to the traditional sandwich! Follow these steps to make the perfect rolls! Once all your ingredients are gathered, heat a skillet over medium heat and slightly warm the tortilla on both sides (a warm tortilla is easier to roll-up, and is less likely to break or tear.) Transfer your wrap onto a plate, add your ingredients. Our favorite recipe is spreading herb & garlic low fat cream cheese over a spinach tortilla. Add some feta cheese, fresh basil and cranberries. Roll-up your wrap and cut into slices. Lay out slices on a plate and cover with Covermate® in the fridge. Use your imagination to create tons of savory wraps!
6) No Bake Energy Bites

Mix together 1 cup oatmeal, ½ a cup raisins, ½ cup almond or peanut butter, ½ cup ground chia seeds or flaxseed, a bit of honey or vanilla to taste. Make 1-inch balls and put on a plate, cover with Covermate® and refrigerate for an hour – you can then keep them covered on the counter for your kids to grab one on the go!
7) Cheers to Health
Make your own smoothies with delicious fruits and vegetables; a healthy way to get your kids to get their vitamins! Experiment with fresh spinach and pineapple or mangoes for vitamin C. Add some grounded chia seeds, soft tofu, almond milk or almond butter for extra protein! Mix all ingredients with a food mixer and pour directly into cups. Cover each cup with a small-sized Covermate®. Why not add some frozen yogurt for a yummy treat? Your kids will love the taste!
